Su padre es inglés y su madre española/holandesa; tiene una hermana llamada Abi Booth. Asistió al National Youth Music Theatre y al National Youth Theatre.
Carrera:
Douglas ha modelado para campañas de Burberry, junto a Emma Watson y Lily Donaldson.
En 2006 interpretó a Sagar en la película independiente Hunters of the Kahri.
En 2010 interpretó a Boy George en la película Worried About The Boy, la cual se centra en la vida del cantante Boy George. También apareció de forma recurrente en la serie The Pillars of the Earth donde interpretó a Eustace a los quince años.
En 2011 se unió al elenco de la miniserie Great Expectations donde interpretó al encantador Pip, junto a Vanessa Kirby y Gillian Anderson. Ese mismo año apareció en la película Christopher and His Kind donde interpretó a Heinz Neddermayer el primer interés romántico del escritor Christopher Isherwood (Matt Smith).
En 2012 apareció en el remake estadounidense de la película LOL: Laughing Out Loud donde interpreta al mejor amigo de Lola "LOL", protagonizada por Miley Cyrus y Demi Moore.
